To celebrate the beautiful weather (I love winter in the Whitsundays) and a return visit by a recently departed friend (can’t keep away), the girls decided to join up for a drink at the Bommie Deck and watch the sunset.
The Bommie Deck is part of the Hamilton Island Yacht Club and a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee while you watch the boats or cocktail while the sun sets. It is a lovely way to ease into dinner at the Bommie restaurant. It is also a very popular spot for wedding photos.
Needless to say it was a gorgeous afternoon. How could it not be with good friends, a beautiful view and a glass of bubbles in hand?
TIP: The Bommie Deck will be THE best seat in the house to watch the race finishes during Audi Hamilton Island Race Week.
